safely.  We encourage our pharmacy owners to use a B-rated safe and offer a discount on insurance for those who do.

What is a B-rated safe?

B Rated safe: means a safe with a steel body that is a minimum of 1 inch thick with a steel door that is a minimum of 1½ inches thick and equipped with a combination lock.

If the safe weighs less than 500 pounds, it must be bolted down to the floor.
